VanDusen Botanical Garden

Opened in 1975, VanDusen Botanical Garden spans 22 hectares in Vancouver and is situated on the site of the former Shaughnessy Golf Course. The garden showcases a wide array of native British Columbia plants along with diverse plant collections from across the globe. Beyond its plant life, VanDusen also serves as a community hub, offering a variety of concerts, lectures, educational courses, and special events. Whether you're keen on botany or simply seeking a tranquil retreat, the garden offers a multifaceted experience in the city's core.
